Ice Rescue is closed on public holidays.
What is the minimum delivery requirement?
We charge a delivery fee of $3 per delivery for quantities above our minimum requirement delivered within Wellington CBD. Our minimum delivery is 10 x 3kg ice bags or 5 x 6kg ice bags.
For any orders under the minimum requirement, or outside of Wellington CBD, a higher delivery fee will apply. Please contact us for details.
When do i need to order by for same day ice delivery?
For same day delivery, please order by 8am that morning. Any orders after this time will not be guaranteed for same day.
What ice can you provide?
3kg or 6kg bags of Regular, Classic or Crushed Ice.
Specialty Cubes - The Cube, The Rock, The Spear (bag of 20).

what juice can i buy?
From 2022, The Daily Squeeze has moved to contract squeezing only. This means we will not have stock for one-off orders. We typically squeeze, lemon, lime, and orange juice. If you are interested in buying juice during the months of May-August, please email us at keepcool@icerescue.co.nz to preorder your juice.
When do i order specialty cubes by?
For same week delivery, please place all orders for specialty cubes by each Monday, 10am. We cut to order, so we cannot guarantee same week delivery if it is made after this time.
Do you sell dry ice?
No, we do not.
How Big are your ice cubes? ANd how many cubes per bag?
Regular Cube: 2.3x2.3x2.6cm | Around 300 cubes in a 3kg & 600 in a 6kg bag
Classic Cube: 3.1x3.1x3.1cm | Around 100 cubes in a 3kg & 200 in a 6kg bag
The Cube: 5.08x5.08.5.08cm | Set bag of 20, minimum order
The Rock: 4.8x4.8x6.4cm | Set bag of 20, minimum order
The Spear: 3.4x3.5x12.5cm | Set bag of 20, minimum order
Other custom sizes available, please ask.
What type of ice is best for cooling drinks?
We would recommend our classic cube for this. They are a larger cube so they hold up longer in chilly bins, etc.
How many bags of ice do i need to fill a standard 44L CHilLy bin?
3x6kg (regular or classic) fill a bin. If you want to fit drinks inside, we suggest using 9kg of ice (3x3kg ice bags or 1x6kg & 1x3kg).

I have a big event coming up. what are your payment terms if i don’t have an account, and what’s your cancellation policy?
For non-account holders we require a 50% deposit of the overall cost before the event. The rest can be paid after the event.
We require a minimum notice of 48 hours of cancellation before an event.
Do you have chilly bins and freezers for hire?
Yes we have 44L & 100L chilly bins, and various chest freezers available. Contact us for more information.
